Welcome to the Cricket Web coaching section. In this section, we’ll be providing a basic technical analysis of the four major aspects of cricket – batting, bowling, fielding and tactics first looking at the basic principles behind the disciplines, then taking a closer look at the finer points of the different areas within each aspect.<\/p>\n
We’ve tried to keep technical jargon down to an absolute minimum, and wherever we do begin the venture into the realms of science, we’ve included as many simplified, small-scale, real-life examples as we can to try to de-mystify some concepts that can make a huge difference to a player’s game. We’ve also tried to make it as easy to read as possible – but there are some places where we haven’t managed to avoid long words – any feedback is much appreciated, if you feel that somewhere in particular is too difficult to read, get in touch and we’ll see what we can do.<\/p>\n
When reading this, or any coaching guide for any sport, it’s important to remember that there’s no quick fix that can be applied to every player with the same effect – some things just won’t work at all for some people, and will work brilliantly for others. If you give something a try, and find that it’s not working for you, then don’t worry about it – there’s no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ way to do something.
